Students - Change starts with you! For campuses to change, the people running them need to know that there is strong student interest in seeing that change. They also need extra capacity to help support a transition to that change.
This site is here to help you in your work, whether you’re just about to get started, or already in the thick of things.
- Starting the conversation. There are a wealth of individual interest, groups, and resources on campus that connect to food. Coordinating, organizing, and developing relationships between key people and champions on campus is an essential foundation for initiating change. Check out the Campus Food Strategy Group model– we think it’s a great way to bring all this energy together — and the Food Service Overview Toolkit for some ideas on where to start.
- Increasing your impact. Making changes is no easy task– universities are big, complex organizations, and this complexity can make it hard to change, even if everybody has the best intentions. Check out the toolkits section of this site for some ideas and resources to help you strengthen your work.
